  • PANAFRICA is working towards reducing their energy use. At their cotton weaving factory in Burkina Faso they are using power looms that do not require electricity, and in their dyeing workshop in Ghana all steps are carried out manually.
  • PANAFRICA makes efforts to reduce its total water usage.
  • They purchase organic cotton canvases from Xoomba in Burkina Faso which are GOTS certified.
  • In Italy, at the Mastrotto Company where their leather tanning takes place, they have the Leather Working Group label indicating compliance with safety standards, reduction of substances harmful to health and the environment, and reduction in water and energy consumption.

  • PANAFRICA can improve their Sustainably Made score by measuring and disclosing their greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and amount of waste sent to landfills.
